Flood conditions in Kelantan continued to worsen. The number of victims rose sharply from 203 in the last night to 344 in this morning, 285 victims in Pasir Mas and 59 victims in Kuala Krai.

Spokesman of Kelantan flood operations room said, “Areas affected are Pasir Mas, including Kampung Kedai Lama, Kedap and Rantau Panjang while in Kuala Krai, Banggol Guchil area was affected.” He added that the water level at Sungai Golok in Rantau Panjang continued to rise above the danger level 9 meters as the morning reading recorded was 10.10 meters.
