Flood struck the city of Machimeatnam, India. Some houses were completely washed away by the flood waters, a huge loss to people who live on a few dollars per day, like Samuel and Mariyamma.

Hoi An Mayor, Le Van Giang, said about 300 houses in his city were flooded in about three feet of water.
