Flooding in Riau – Indonesia January 2010 Residents Cross a Flooded Area with Boats

Flooding that began last week across 4 districts in Riau is still affecting thousands of houses in the province, even though water had receded to 60 cm.

Government official said there would still be heavy rains and strong winds over the next week in Riau.
